My Background Safety 1st Driving School was established since July 2006. Since then I've managed to build a long list of satisfied customers who I've taught to drive and helped thousands of test candidates through their driving test in Raheny and Finglas.
I'm professional and very passionate about what I do. I use up-to-date teaching aides & techniques that will help you to learn to drive to the highest standard as soon as possible. Registered RSA-ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) in April 2008
There are approximately 2,000 ADI instructors in Ireland at present. I was the 33rd ADI and one of only a handful of ADI instructors in Dublin at the time and that is an achievement I'm very proud of.
In order to continue as a driving instructor to teach for reward from April 31st 2009 all instructors must pass all 3 stages and pay €250 EVERY 2 YEARS to stay on the ADI list in order to receive the ADI Certificate of Registration. We must also pass a check-test every two years by an examiner from the RSA.
The ADI examination process consists of 3 stages:
Stage 1 : Theory test on all categories of vehicle (€150)
Stage 2 : 1 and-a-half hours advanced driving test including motorway driving (€200)
Stage 3 : Ability to instruct a skill to a learner driver and to analyse and explain faults in a driving test applicant.(€200)
On 18/08/08 I passed my ROSPA exam at Gold Standard. R.O.S.P.A (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) is generally regarded as the most comprehensive and challenging test of its kind available to a member of the public.
On 03/09/2009 I received my coveted FETAC AWARD at LEVEL 6 with Merit & Distinction in Driving Instruction.
0n 30/04/10 I passed the DIAMOND SPECIAL TEST with no faults recorded.
