Price ListAs any professional service, prices vary from driving school to driving school. The average price for driving lessons/pre-tests in Dublin is 33p/h. You get what you pay for and my pricing structure is very competitive and relates to my vast experience, service that I provide, my high success rate and my top quality website.
Driving Instructors who charge 25p/h or 250 for 12 EDT modules are generally only starting off as ADIs and charge a lower price to get into the market. They will not be established and maybe an ADI less than a year. They more than likely will provide driving lessons in a car more than 5 years old and probably dont have a website.
Driving instructors who charge 30p/h or 250 - 300 for 12 EDT modules are generally ADIs 1-3 years. They charge slightly less than more established instructors until they build a larger customer base. They more than likely have a website and probably offer driving lessons in a newer car.
Driving instructors who charge 35-40p/h or 330-400 for 12 EDT modules ADIs for 5 years or over. They have other qualifications as well as being an ADI and may provide ADI training. They are very experienced, have a long customer base, a very high pass rate, with an excellent quality website and provide driving lessons in hi-spec cars and are very up-to-date.
Driving Schools who charge 40-55p/h or 450-600 for 12 EDT modules are simply over charging you. They are as qualified and provide the same services as instructors who charge between 35 & 40p/h. They charge higher because they believe that they are the BEST driving instructors in the business but they cant guarantee you that youll pass your driving test first time. Youre paying the extra charge for the branding of the driving school but not higher quality tuition.
