Safety 1st Driving School began in July 2006 on a part-time basis. I started my business once I bought a suitable car to teach people to drive and fitted my dual controls to my first driving school car, 2005 Fiat Punto. I gave out out fliers outside Northside Shopping Centre and I then decided to put a small advert in the Golden Pages. In 2007 I put in another advert along with my prices and this got me noticed and began to build my customer base. 2007 was a successful year and when the regulations changed where 2nd provisional drivers could no longer drive unaccompanied, I got extremely busy. In April 2008 I became one of the first and youngest ADI instructors on Irelands list of ADI instructors and the 14th in Dublin. I then changed my car in May 2008 to the newer model Fiat Grande Punto and became a full time driving instructor. I was the first driving instructor in North Dublin to have "ADI" on my car.
Since then I have built up a long list of satisfied clients who I've taught to drive and who successfully passed their driving test with many of them passing it first time. I continue to be a well established and respected ADI instructor among my peers and competitors plus I have arguably the best driving school website in the country and possibly the world. In February 2013 I bought a brand new Kia Cee'd which is one of the best and most recognised driving school cars in the country.
I have a very easygoing personality and focus on bringing you from beginner level to intermediate level, test standard level and beyond and with my tips and advice plus teaching style you will become an incredibly SAFE, competent and skillful driver.
