Make sure when you book your test that you can be ready to pass it with in 4 weeks of applying. The maximum waiting times for test dates around Ireland is 10 weeks. DO NOT BOOK YOUR DRIVING TEST IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO PASS IT.
In some cases some driving test applicants on their 2nd provisional licence have no choice to book the driving test if they want to renew their learner permit. There is no harm doing the test if you are only learning just to see what the driving test format is like so that you will be more prepared for the next one.
