SAFETY 1ST DRIVING SCHOOL CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are part of being in business and can be extremely annoying. If every client cancels especially within 24 hours it is impossible to fill and so loss of earnings is inevitable. Please respect myself and my driving school as a business that can only survive when people actually complete and pay for my service.
From 10/07/13 ALL CLIENTS MUST PAY FOR DRIVING LESSONS OR PRETESTS IN FULL AND IN ADVANCE in case of last minute cancellations.
When you book a driving lesson or pre test you will be told either over the phone or through email that you must give a FULL 24 HOURS notice if you need to cancel so it can be offered to someone else who needs it.
Once you book a driving lesson or a pre test you've entered a contract to complete it even if you book it within a few hours on the same day. When you book a driving lesson or pre test you must provide me with the following information:
- Your full name
- You date of birth
- Your full address
- Your driver number
- Your driving test reference number (if you've applied for a driving test)
- Description of your car (make and model, year and colour)
- Test centre date and time of your test
ALL NEW CLIENTS MUST PAY FOR DRIVING LESSONS OR PRETESTS IN ADVANCE USING THE PAYPAL OPTION ON THE WEBSITE.
If you don't have a credit card to have the option to pay with PAYPAL and refuse to provide me with the information above, the driving lesson or pre test will not be booked in for you. You can now pay in advance through PayPal with your Visa Debit card.
Last minute cancellations are not tolerated so please remember:
- If you are sick or a family member is sick
- Running late
- At the wrong agreed location
- Any other reason why you can't make the lesson or pre test
This is NOT my problem. If you make the booking in advance and you can't make it you will forfeit the full amount if the cancellation is within 24 hours.
If your are running late you will be expected to pay for the full time, for example if you book a 2 hour lessons and you are 30 minutes late, you will have to pay for the full 2 hour lesson.
There will be no refunds under any circumstances.
There are the odd occasion that I will need to cancel a lesson:
- If I am sick
- If another client needs a pretest I may ask you to re-arrange a driving lesson to give them a chance to pass
- If a client needs to hire my car for a test, I may ask you to re-arrange your lesson to give them a chance to pass.
I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT I DO NOT CANCEL A LESSON UNLESS SOMETHING IS COMPLETELYOUT OF MY CONTROL OTHERWISE MY BUSINESS WILL NOT SURVIVE!! I
